About Al Dandashi Restaurant

Al Dandashi is an offal and charcoal-grill restaurant in Al Tal, in the centre of Tripoli, North Lebanon. We specialise in Lebanese offal done properly: stuffed intestines (fawaregh), sanasel, tripe, lamb trotters, tongue, tendon, bone marrow and lamb testicles, alongside fatteh plates and charcoal grills.

Every plate is prepared fresh each day. The offal is cleaned by hand and cooked slowly, the way it is cooked in a Tripoli home. From a plate of fawaregh to trotter fatteh, the recipe is the same: good ingredients, restrained seasoning, and enough time over the fire.
